Victorian Bustled Ball Gown in Red Silk

The fully lined and lightly boned bodice has a low, rounded neckline that is edged with a narrow gathering of venice lace and is lavishly overlaid with beaded and sequined appliqués all around.
It has short, capped sleeves that are edged with wide Venice lace, that drapes over the upper arms, and is finished with a beaded and sequined applique at each shoulder.
The bodice comes to a point at the centre front waistline and is edged with beaded and sequined trim around the front.
It curves up over the hips and drapes elegantly over the skirt at the back. The back of this bodice is edged with the venice lace and is finihsed at the centre back with beaded and sequined appliques.
It laces up the centre back to close
This Dress is made in 100% smooth silk dupion of a rich bright red coloured fabric with a synthetic lining. The content of the trims is unknown and professional cleaning is recommended.
It was photographed over my large bustle pad which is available separately. Choker is not included

This is a brand new, one of a kind, reproduction red silk (smooth dupion) Victorian bustled style ball gown, with black lace, and beaded and sequined trims.

The fully lined skirt has a decoration towards the hem, at both the front and sides, made in the beaded and sequined appliques that sparkle with every step.
The attached back overskirt gathers up to form a waterfall effect ending in a long train that is finished with fabric pleating and the beaded braid. The back of this skirt pleats into the inch-wide waist band and it closes with hooks and eyes.
